dt I don't think will never go to wacken again due to problems they had with wacken promoting stuff.. or something like that..

DT being at Wacken is doubtful, a friend of mine asked one of the organisators last year and he said they're too expensive.. really left me puzzled, since DT are not that big a name after all. I mean, In Flames are coming to Wacken and I dont imagine them to be cheaper really..
Weird stuff, it's been ages since DT hasnt played there, 2001 was the last time I believe.

DT is not expensive as far as I know.. but I heard that in 2001 DT had an argument with some promoters at wacken so they're not in a good relation with those guys.. that's why they never went there.. don't know if it's just rumours.. but this is what I'v been told

In Flames are surely more expensive than DT, at least in the last few years when their fame grew higher (and their records turned metalcore)

yeah, but we'd better spare money for some scooters if the camping place is so far from the festival area, and if you have to walk to the topof a hill to get there

Summerbreeze's bill is really low-profile this year if we exclude DT a bunch of other bands. But surely is not as good as the past years. Wacken is much much better (duuh-uh), too bad DT doesn't play there.

Anyway I'll go to Gods of Metal which is a good festival: this is the bill for June 3rd (DT play that day)

I think it's a great bill! I'll finally see Dream Theater, Dimmu Borgier and Symphony-X live. Too bad DT replaced Porcupine Tree.. I'd have preferred them to replace Blind Guardian (I hate that band!).

Yea, it's pretty far.. it's a huge detour of about 2km and the camp ground is about 100m higher than the festival ground. Whether you set out to go see a band or not becomes quit the decision like that :Smug:

not anymore... they changed the place last year and now the camping is very near to the stages and no need to walk up the hill anymore... summer breeze rules
