David Coverdale was interviewed by rock journalist Nicky Horne for "Here I Go Again: David Coverdale", which is set to air in the U.K. on Vintage TV on July 26 at 10:30 p.m. Horne visited the former DEEP PURPLE and current WHITESNAKE frontman at Coverdale's home and studio in Reno, Nevada, and they went on a road trip in Lake Tahoe as they discussed the singer's music career and his plans for next year. Horne said: "I've known David for many years now, and was delighted to go and visit him in his home over in the States. From the PURPLE years to why WHITESNAKE won't be retiring anytime soon, no subject was off limits." A trailer for the show can be seen below. WHITESNAKE is continuing to tour in support of its twelfth studio album, "The Purple Album", which was released in May 2015 via Frontiers Music Srl. The effort is billed as "a re-imagination of classic songs from David Coverdale's time as the lead singer for DEEP PURPLE's Mark III and Mark IV studio albums." Coverdale was DEEP PURPLE's frontman from late 1973 to early 1976 and sang on the albums "Burn", "Stormbringer" and "Come Taste The Band". WHITESNAKE's current touring lineup — David Coverdale (vocals), Joel Hoekstra (guitar), Reb Beach (guitar), Michael Devin (bass), Tommy Aldridge (drums) and Michele Luppi (keyboards) — made its live debut on May 28, 2015 at Northern Quest Casino in Airway Heights, Washington. PURPLE classics revamped for "The Purple Album" include "Stormbringer", "Lady Double Dealer", "Soldier Of Fortune" and "Sail Away".
