For those who went, Daylight Dies (home to Katatonia webmaster Jesse) were one of the better bands of last weekend.
After all the grind and other death metal tripe, it's good to see a band not so obsessed with blastbeats and mile-a-second riffs. Fans of Katatonia and the like should really check 'em out when they play live. Great presence.
Also, the band's album "No Reply" comes out sometime in October on Relapse. I've yet to hear it, but from what i heard live I can't wait.

ps. Jesse, you have a safe flight home?
