DE PROFUNDIS To Begin Recording New Album In November

DE PROFUNDIS - PRESS RELEASE DECEMBER 2011 - NEW ALBUM TITLE REVEALED
De Profundis (Progressive Black/Death Metal – UK) has revealed the title of its upcoming 3rd album, to be released in 2012, as THE EMPTINESS WITHIN. The final mix is happening this weekend in Paris at the legendary Studios Davout (AC/DC, Trust). The album is once again produced by Fernando Pereira Lopes (Misanthrope, Orakle) and De Profundis. The track order hasn’t been finalised yet but the song names are as follows:

DEAD INSIDE
UNBROKEN (A MORBID EMBRACE)
RELEASE
TWISTED LANDSCAPES
SILENT GODS
THIS WRETCHED PLAGUE
PARALLEL EXISTENCE (instrumental)
THE EMPTINESS WITHIN is scheduled to be released in April/May 2012.

The band spent 3 days (and nights) from the 17th December at Studio Davout (Rolling Stones, AC/DC, Ozzy Osborne etc) in Paris mixing their 3rd album called "The Emptiness Within". Mastering will be done on the 6th January with Tim Turan (Opeth, Motorhead, Emperor), with the rest of the month spent sorting out artwork, photos etc. The album should be out late Spring / early Summer.
The next confirmed show will be an intimate gig at The Devonshire Arms, London on the 17th March 2012, which will showcase a number of new songs. The band are also now taking bookings for festivals / tours and one-off shows, so if you want them to play in your area get in touch via management@deprofundistheband.com
