Dean RC7 Rusty Cooley Model

Too much. As much as I love the low-end Deans - amazing beginner guitars, my first electric was an old Dean ML-XT that still gets played daily and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one for any reason - the high-end ones just don't seem to have the same bang for the buck. RG body with a few more cuts, a funny paintjob, and EMGs stock... think I'll get about three Blackjacks for the price.

I really like the features, but man... that paint job is killing me, I think his prototype was tastier. I saw 1899 USD at Sam Ash.

I've got a "Dean From Hell"-ML and love it but I don't dig the finish on that Rustey Cooley sig.

I've recently fallen in love with the new Framus Camarillo Custom Limited Edition. Damn it's a beauty!

That looks pretty sexy. I'd like to refinish my ML with a black marble looking finish - black and grey with light green and white streaks - and that picture is just making me want to get off my ass and do it now. Too bad I don't have the equipment on hand right now... actually, with all the homework I have to do that's a good thing.

I have a 1978 Dean ML and it fucking RULES. Handmade by Dean Zelinsky himself. And their entry-level guitars are great for the price too. The whole setup of the RC7 from the tall frets to the ebony fretboard to the EMG 707s with the slanted neck pickup AND a floyd just scream... AMAZING to me... but maybe I'm a wanker...

Personally I loathe the angled neck pickup (it works for single coils, but not for humbuckers). Otherwise, just another super-strat
