Remove the drums, make it a guitar-only song. Gawd! in this case i'd just say the drums are bad but not 'cause they sound bad, but more like a bad rythm composition anyway... i'd totally go for programmed drums.

Devkick superior 2 MF. I reamped the bass through a 70s silverface bassman with a tubescreamer up front, dumped the bass freqs off that and ran it along the SVT track we did.
