I don't see what the big fucking deal is. I just heard the entire My Apocalypse and it's as boring as watching grass grow. I know these are samples but the only sample that sounded like it was worth a shit was the very first one.

People don't understand the difference between playing metal and playing good metal, I guess.

save for shitty vocals, the song my apocalypse is OK, but the vocals are a big let down, I can't believe the same guy sang on puppets and justice, but the riff explosion at 1:55 or so is pretty good. I like the day that never comes though. My apocalypse reminds me of slayer a bit.

"My Apocalypse" sounds okay. Better than the other one but still not as great as I would hope for.

My Apocalypse is probably just going to be like Damage Inc. and Dyers Eve in that it's the speed driven closer. That means the rest of the album will be much more like The Day that Never Comes. I can only hope they aren't all like the first two thirds of that track.

I think it has to do more with all the supposed return of Metallica's metal side, only to find out that the songs are really bland, boring, and bad...it's somewhat comedic.

Arch Enemy's not that much better with their melo-death bullshit. Wages of Sin is acceptable, but after that it was pretty much meh. The last really good album was Burning Bridges.
