"Death of the Bill of Rights": discussion of recent birth control/health care order

Edit: I initially thought OP might be a spammer. As you can see in the posts below, he's one of us. Cleaning up the unnecessary questioning here - it's all good.

I own Their entire discography, save Wages of Sin and Gregarious Raconteur. I was going to use the song As the World Bleeds of the album of the same name of the first link, but found it was no longer on Youtube.

I don't intend to prove anything. Not everyone will agree with me. I just want people to see what's going on, and think for themselves. I am a teacher, not a politician.

I am also in the Club of Souls, I can PM you with my account name there if it will help. I've lurked for a while. Last night, I posted.

OP, thank you! Post #3 is *exactly* what I was looking for! Ideally, that should have been your introductory post before you posted this, because without it, this looks like spam (I hope you're seeing why I reacted that way). It's definitely a best practice to introduce yourself before injecting political commentary.

Now that I know you're a real fan (and you proved it with references that people cannot easily Google), welcome aboard. I'm glad you de-lurked.

I'll leave the thread up, as long as the discussion stays civil. Political topics have a way of easily getting out of hand. I will be changing your thread title to one more descriptive to the topic.

I was going to use the song As the World Bleeds of the album of the same name of the first link, but found it was no longer on Youtube.

FYI, that is because the record label has decided to only allow I AM, Nailed, and 30 Pieces of Silver on YouTube for now, to increase album sales and remove the ability for people to rip the entire album from YouTube.

Welcome and sorry for being heavy-handed! It really looked like I was dealing with a spammer. I'm glad I didn't follow my first instinct and instead asked. My apologies - but I get a little touchy defending this community when it needs to be defended
