Decapitated To Play Ozzfest!

Death Metal sensations Decapitated are continuing their quest to put Death Metal back on the map with the confirmation of their appearance on the OzzFest extravaganza in their native Poland on May 29. The band will line up alongside Ozzy Osbourne, Tool and Slayer and will surely be the most extreme representative on any of the OzzFest bills this year, an event which will also be Decapitated's biggest show to date.

In other Decapitated news, the band's latest and greatest album 'Nihility' will be issued in a limited vinyl format on May 27. Limited to just 500 copies, the release will come on ultra-brutal 220g vinyl (that's HEAVY boys and girls) in a high gloss embossed sleeve. All copies will be hand numbered.

they are only doing it in poland, and any band would dumb to pass up the opporutunity to play for that many people. if you had a one off opportunity to show the ozzfest what heavy music was, you wouldn't take it? i say they should go for it.

ummmm slayers songs arent really that difficult and tom araya isnt THAT great of a bass player but slayer kicks massive ass and i am seeing them decapitated is easily more technical and talented then slayer. tool is relaxin music...its nothing too technical. everyother band sucks ass though

Well if they don' t tour with ozzy fest, well then they will never make there mark and they would be fools not to take this chance to move on and improve their skill and talent, so people like us can jam to good and improved music.
