No way... I just got into a couple of their albums! Will check this out.

How did you like it? It's perhaps more modern than one could have expected, but the more I'm listening to it, the more I'm convinced they have recorded a killer album. "Beyond Recognition" is still among my favourite albums of all time.

One listen didn't really get me going... I'll try them again at some point. They were a bit too modern-influenced for me I think...

Yeah, the sound might be modern, but the riffing is totally old-school. It can grow on you, although it'd probably be better if Steev sang like on BR... BTW, he seems to be influenced by "our" Chuck even more than in the past, at times I'm even wondering if it isn't Chuck doing some guest backing vocals

I'm listening to "the Prophecy" I've never really heard these guy's.I definitely hear some Chuck influence but I'm not sure I like whatever the singer is using on his vocals.

If you haven't heard them, you should definitely check out "Beyond Recognition" from 1992. It's technical, but also melodic Thrash heavily inspired by Testament, but also drawing influence from jazz. Great leads, crazy rhythms and very good, melodic vocals (pretty different from what's on "The Prophecy" - judging by these 3 samples on MS).
