Deftones

Any fans of the deftones? I'm a big fan of thier sound, i have all of thier albums, i like the first two the best. I just got the new one and i havent been able to listen to it since i'm at work. Has anybody heard the new album? If so how does it compare to the old ones?

i used to listen to them when they came out, i listen to the first 3 records, they were good for the style the played. never heard them since. not into that stuff anymore.

they are really bad live though, seen them 3 times, chino is just horrible, he misses notes all the time, the band as a whole is pretty sloppy. really bad experiences, glady i was there to see other bands.

I've seen they live once in san diego for the taste of chaos tour, your right they're not that great live. Chino Uses some kind of synth or talk box thing live. They did get the crowd hyped though.

I enjoyed their first two albums when they were released, but haven't been able to listen to them since. I suppose they wore thin... quick. White Pony doesn't do anything for me aside from the single, Change (In the House of Flies). The same applies for the next release. Minerva is the only song I can get into. As for the new album, I bet I'll only like one song.

Around The Fur is a good album. The rest of their stuff is pretty hit and miss.

Adrenaline is absolutely amazing album. Seems like people ignore this album..

I have yet to meet anyone who was happy with their live performance. Everyone I know that has seen them says how they suck live.

I really like the first two, they're really good murder music. I don't know why...

Deftones are cool, I have yet to hear any of their new material.
