Dehumanizer Deluxe

I still have the original tape bought the day of release in 1992, the cd, Rules of Hell and now the deluxe. I mind not having the $ for the TV Crimes cd single, so am pleased to hear that alternate version of Letters.

Still waiting with for Dehumanizer demos w/ Tony Martin on vox to surface. Not saying that it would be better than Dio... just think it would be cool to hear.

I'm not too keen on re-masters, as they usually screw up the sound...
I have absolutely no problems with "silent" CDs - I turn up my stereo! :headbang:

I have the original CD pressing and sounds fine for my standards, so no need for a remaster in this case.

Problem I have with reissues like this is that these reissue packaging is usually pretty sexy looking, but I'll only bother to listen to the "bonus disk" maybe once. In this case, it's 3 slightly different versions of the original songs, and an exerpt from a concert (which is also a little frustrating, since I'd rather have a disk with the entire concert, so that I can feel like I'm getting the full experience). So, I think I've finally learned not to hop on these sets, unless it's really an upgrade in sound, or if it's got a bunch of previously unreleased tracks that are really going to be worth listened to more than once.

I totally agree... Those bonus tracks are most oftenly nothing but a bait to make you want it...

Also agree in full.

My version of Dehumanizer purchased in the 90's sounds just fine and already has the Wayne's World version of Time Machine. So the live tracks on the bonus disc are the only reason to get this release as there is very little live stuff from this era.

Not only that, I like to hear the tracks where Cozy Powell was playing on drums instead of Vinnie Appice.
