Deja Vu - my brief cover of the intro

Sounds good, but I think you have a "B" string on the clean guitar that needs to be retuned a few cents. :)

Of course, I've been doing nothing but playing Classical guitar pieces for the guitar ensemble and writing some MIDI files for the last couple of weeks so I'm kind of stuck in absolute tuning 440 Hz pitch.

I think you be right... I'm not the best with tuning. I have to buy a new tuner, mine's gone to hell.

I'm all excited, because I finally figured out how to line in to my computer without making the guitar sound all fuzzy and crappified. This is the best bit of work I've been able to do yet. Yayy, me!

yay you! so what are you using software wise? i like the way SF's Acid does loops, but i've always used cakewalk so it's easier for me to jump right in and get some tracks done. sounds like you could use some warmth from a speaker sim. i tripped out when i found out my new digitech delay stomp has one built in~ ah technology never ceases to amaze me!

Miniiiii...
What are these whimsical speaker sims? I hope to fix any warmth problems soon when I buy a new amp... till then, I'm stuck with my tiny box. Piece-a crap.

I use Fruity Loops for the drum track, export it to .WAV, then chunk that into CoolEdit's multitrack mixer. I then record each guitar track over and over until it sounds right, or about as right as I'm likely to get.

Try using a Line6 Guitar Pod, Pod Pro or Pod X. There's also Behringer's V-Amp2 and V-Amp 2 Pro. They all have great amplifier and speaker simulations that are great for recording at low volumes when you live in the apartment or when inspiration hits you at 2 am.
