I know this isn't the proper place to ask for advice on live setups but I trust you guys more than the guitar forums. What are some good pedals for live use? I'm looking for a good delay for solos and cleans, and a chorus for cleans. So far my chain is pretty much true bypass and It would be cool if I could keep it that way but, whatever. The other forums have recommended me:
Carbon Copy
DD7
Echo Park

I'm thinking about the same thing for rehearsals and live. Chorus and Delay in the FX loop for lead and clean.

I thought about the TC Electronics Flashback delay

For Chorus I thought about the Boss CE-5

Thinking about getting a effect unit though (TC Electronic G-Major 2), but that would be my pedal solution I think

I always used the Boss DD-6(leads/fx loop) and the EH Small Clone(cleans/in front). Though I have been wanting to check out that MXR Carbon Copy, just to see if it was any better than the Boss stuff.

FYI: The Small Clone is the best chorus pedal I've EVER heard on a clean guitar. It's warm and sparkling all at once. Just awesome.

Don't mean to hijack but its relevant to my interests...

Is the Timefactor really worth the price of both a Nova Delay AND a Nova Repeater. Yes it's two delays in one but no mod on repeats (big letdown). It does however have switchable line-level/instrument level (I take that to be -4/+4) so it seems like a proper professional effect that will come in handy in more than one way.

The DD-20 is also an option but I'm not aware of what it's advantages are over the TC stuff...

And how much of a jump ahead of the Line 6 Echo Park that I owned each of them offers?

I'm NOT interested in Analog Delay, I have that covered with my 20$ Behringer.

I've been using the Carbon Copy for 2 years in different styles and settings and I'm really satisfied of it.

However I would suggest you buy a delay pedal with a foot/tap function. I guess the best pedal around for that is the T-Rex Replica Delay.

You can also check the Vox Joe Satriani Time Machine. But I have no idea about its quality:

Concerning the Chorus I've been using a vintage Ibanez pedal for more than 1 year and it's just a great one. Really creamy but still remain clear, even pushed to the edge.
I've recently tried the T-Rex Tremonti chorus and I found it really great and if offers much more sounds than the Ibanez though
The stereo chorus from MXR (M134) is also a very great piece of gear. My favourite so far. It was been my first choice back then but I came across a really cheap 2nd hand vintage Ibanez.

You can also have a nice similar to chorus effect by using a flanger.
