Demonizer pedal anyone?

Anyone have experience of direct recording with the 'Demonizer' pedal from Damage Control?

Looks to be about £300GBP and can 'do' direct recording.

Check over at the sonar forum at www.cakewalk.com. I remember seeing plenty of threads about that pedal. If I remember correctly, many of the posts were positive.

At £300 I don't think it's worth the money, you can get a POD XT Live + the metal shop pack for that.

I've only heard one album recorded with the demonizer and womanizer...Henning Pauly's "Credit Where Credit is Due"...and I have to say...there are some good tones, and some really bad tones on that cd...

I know he was going for a heavy NIN/Metal/Progressive/Experimental thing on the cd...and I like the album, but the guitars don't sound anywhere near as good as his "An Abscence of Empathy" cd.

But there are several sounds on that disc, and I believe they all came from the Damage Control pedals.
