Derrame was born in mid-2008 when two childhood friends decided to start a band. With Nigel on guitar, Benny on vocals and later Ruben on drums, they started to write their first songs.
Two months later, Ruben leaves the band and Mike [ex- Chronic Infection] replaces him. The band starts writing songs and searching for a band name. By Benny"s suggestion, they named the band DERRAME.
In 2009, Vitinho joins the band as a drummer and Ricardo as lead guitarrist. With a full line-up the band keeps writing songs. A year later, they do their first show at "Republica Real de Coimbra", in Lisbon.
After the show, Vitinho and Mike leave the band.
In April 2012, Cris joins the band to play drums and Marques picks up lead guitar duties, but two months later Benny is forced to leave the band due to personal reasons. Once again, DERRAME found its line-up undone.
A few months later, Fred joined the band for bass duties and Pedro joined to handle the vocal department.
In January 26th 2013, DERRAME did their first show with this new line-up, but after one more show Marques leaves the band and is replaced by Nelson [Frost Legion], making this the most stable line-up so far.
The debut EP "Crawl To Die" release is scheduled for September 2014 and the band begins a new promotional cycle.
