The Man Behind The Mayhem
THIS WEEK ON YOUR CLASSIC METAL SHOW: If you are a fan of Classic Metal, then you certainly know the name Dee Snider. His band, Twisted Sister, pretty much defined what became the glam era that was the mid to late 80s. Many of you remember that he had another band called Widowmaker, which had a couple of killer albums but never quite found the success of Twisted Sister. Far fewer of you, however, will remember that there was a third band called Desperado. A little more straight ahead rock than Dee did at any other point in his career, Desperado recorded ACE, but never released it...until now. We'll do a New Music Listening Party for ACE (a project that also featured Clive Burr on drums), and we'll talk to the great Dee Snider once again about this project, and anything else that comes up along the way.

Also on the show this week, a newcomer to the show called Crash Kelly will make their inaugural appearance. Their new album, ELECTRIC SATISFACTION, captures the Classic Metal spirit, yet brings some fresh blood into this sometimes flat scene. We'll do New Music Listening Party for ELECTRIC SATISFACTION, and guitarist Sean Kelly will be checking in to talk about his band, and life as a new "old-school" band.
