From what I understand, well from Blabbermouth anyway, Zuess mixed Despised Icon's Day of Mourning album. Just wanted to see if anyone knew what amp, or amps, was used on the final mix. Sounds killur.

Andreas mix the album...Guitar reamp by andreas...Amp was a 5150!!! If you have any question...don't hesitate.

As far as questions, only other two are A) boost? + 5150 + what cab + what mic?, and B) round-about settings?

That's what I used when I toured with them. Randall cabs live as well.
Solos on the CD were recorded at Eric's house through some processor.
Would like to know what mic was used on the album as well.

the chain was=tube screamer ts9+5150+mesa oversize cab+sm57 through api preamp. The lead was reamp in the same chain.

-HH,RIDE,CHINA eartwork mic through api preamp
-Room mic was AEA 84 through AEA preamp(ribbon pre)
-Vox was telefunken mic(aka47) through vintech preamp+distressor
-bass was DI+sans amp through a-design preamp+purple mc-77 comp
-gtr was 5150
The entire album has been recorded in 30 days. Gang vox was recorded by chris donaldson

tom are my sample of tama artstar. Chain is 57+api preamp. I recorded the original dw toms from grind kit but it's sound not enough powerfull. The Kick and snare are andreas sample.

Just out of curiosity, which guitar was used for recording this?
Just thought of another question: What was used for the clean guitar parts, like on the song Sleepless? Was this still through the Mesa cab or a completely different setup?

you're right ZVISH... Esp ec 1000 with emg's. The clean tone in sleepless is fender emulation in eleven plugin.
