cool man. not a bad band. drummer is pretty tight. Ive seen them live, and even played with them in peterborough back in like 04 or 05. Not really a fan of the whole new wigger slam / tight pants fags at death metal shows thing thats happened over the past few years but I have a bit of respect for these guys any ways, cause they are canadian and all.

They know that most "metal" people are not going to like the video. I think the video is REALLY a blast of fresh air as opposed to the HORRIBLY done to death band-in-a-warehouse- crap that every band seems to put out. But most of it is tongue in cheek.

Dudes, I'm usually not the one to critisise bands, music styles or different tastes in music (well, usually *haha*).

But - really - this is one of the worst bands ever. And I don't mean that in a musical way ... although I just can't get through even one song. But hey ... WTF are those singers about? I mean - I like a lot of the stereotypical macho-hardcore-bands like AF, Terror etc. ... but those guys are just - well - way tooo over the top.
Just watching the video makes me want to kick them in the nuts and shove their New Era Hats up their asses. That's more cliché than I can take.

Of course this is just my 2 cents and really ... I just needed to get that out of my head

Actually the two singers complement each other quite well. One is the death metal vocalist, and the other is hardcore vocals. They play on each other nicely and tastefully. This video is meant to be over the top. and whats better then a new era montreal expos cap????? NOTHING!

anyways, DI have always been hit or miss for me....i loved the opener of their latest album, but most of the other songs just seemed to random for me tbh....great production on their previous one though. new one seems inferior, at least on myspace lol. and what'S up with the ride bell???
as for the 2 singers thing.....let me ask one thing: did they already have two singers on their previous one??? because if so, there's only VERY little difference between them as far as i am concerned.

Music isn't my cup of tea, but the tongue-in-cheek aspect gets lost completely in these kinds of videos. Either you make a totally goofy one or you'll look like a complete idiot. The mixing of the serious looking gothy girls/cemetary with the playing-like-wiggers-in-a-highschool-yard doesn't really work at all. Or maybe I am just not aware of a wannabe-2001-street-hiphop-meets-technical-deathmetal scene?

And this is coming from someone who makes scene-defying cheesy eurodance videos, listens to a lot of hiphop and generally thinks Daft Punk's "One More Time" is one of the best songs ever made.

EDIT: I can only imagine the look on the face of the label's A&R when he saw this and was thinking "How on earth are we gonna market this video?"
