Excellent band!! But James seem to be more interested in Helstar lately. Too bad because Destiny's End is one hell of a band.

Did you ever seen them live? I have seen them at Wacken '99 and in Belgium. Great shows.

yeah, I saw em live with Nevermore and Iced Earth a while back... that was a great show needless to say. I definately recommend Destiny's End to anyone who is into metal.

If James Rivera were to do something with Helstar again I'd be overjoyed. But I just don't see this happening with where Destiny's End is at right now. I guess I don't know what you're talking about...

James was working with Helstar to do a show.

I completely share your feelings about DE! They are kicking ass. Add the fact that all the guys in the band are true metalheads, well what else is there? They love metal, and they show it through their song writing! Transition is indeed the ALBUM of the year (or one of the top 5 anyway). Metal's destiny is DESTINY's END. Helstar were the guiding star, but Destiny's End are the light that enlightens the Metal Path.

OK here are the facts as far as I know them:

James has performed with Helstar at the Bang Your Head
festival in Germany before a crowd of 50.000 people. They
also performed at the Bang Your Head in Texas. And James
has stated that he would be interested in recording an
album with Helstar again.

Now I love DE I have seen them live twice. And indeed they
are real metalheads. I have btw met the guys and spoken
with them and they are great.

I just think that if Helstar becomes populair again it would
be very possible that he continues with Helstar. Would I like that? No! I would not. But I am not James

Well guys this is the latest news about James Rivera.

He has joined FLOTSAM & JETSAM at least for the tour part starting I do believe Sept 26th or so.This is TRUE heard it straight from him!

Still doing HELSTAR too. Playing this Sat. night in San Antonio, TX.

DE is kind of on hiatus right now not much going on for them right now.

Hey MysticForce did you get your name from the band with the same name?? They are truely Fantastic!!

If some of you who are reading this do not know them try and get their "Man vs Machine" album.

This is one spectaculair album. It's like an agressive Queensryche at the beginning of their career. It absolutely Kills !!

james rivera is a good singer!!

i own albums from DE and Helstar. good stuff!! he's from here (hou) and he has this side band called "metal gods" and they played 2 weeks ago...oh man was it a badass show!! then when it was over he mentioned he was gonna be flotsam and jetsams singer!! overall, he's a nice guy too.
