Guitarist Mike Ferguson of the Dutch death/thrash metal act DETONATION has issued the following update: "It has been a turbulent couple of weeks [following the passing of Mike's father] but Koen [Romeijn, vocals] and myself have picked up right where we left of and that's to write the best goddamn metal record that we have ever written.
