I'm slingin' bass for MELLOTRON. It's the brainchild of my friend Tony Piccoli. He's got some brilliant music, so we built him a band to get his music out there. Think Opeth crossing Dream Theater sprinkled with Meshuggah and a dash of Devin Townsend. If you local Detroit yokels got a moment, go hit http://www.myspace.com/mellotronmetal and listen to a track called Driving Home for a good example of this kid's music. And if it tickles your fancy, swing by that night. I'll buy you a hooker and a line of coke to snort off her ass.

Okay maybe just some beer....

You've been talking about this for a while, right? I remember you talking about a prog guy that had music but no band, I assume this is it? Good luck at the I-ROCK! Is it the first Mellotron show? :headbang:

Yup this is it. Nope not the "first" Mellotron show. First real metal bar show. An outdoor festival and a last-minute 10-person-audience hall show don't really count, heh heh.

Get this.... one guitarist just had shoulder surgery. Wednesday we will try to squeeze in a last practice, then Thursday drummer goes in to re-record some real drum tracks for three songs, then Friday we might squeeze in a partial-member practice, then Saturday the gig. STRESS RULES!!! Heh heh.

I'ma have my brudda videotape and open-air-mic record for us. We'll Youtube dat shit soon.
