Belfast’s Devilmakesthree have wasted no time in releasing their 2nd demo CD just months after storming into the UK’s underground metal scene in late 2002.

Entitled “Voice of the Underdog”, this release emphasises the bands keen ear for a hook without sacrificing aggression and power. Coupled with the barrage of musical textures and personal lyrics, Devilmakesthree have written songs that are as passionate as they are heavy

The band was established in Autumn 2002, by Marty Robinson (guitar/vocals). With Paul Duffy (drums) and Dave McCallum (bass/backing vocals) at his side, the self recorded debut release “Caution: Will Cause neck injury” was released to international media acclaim.
In early 2003, Gavin “Chief” Coulter (guitar) was welcomed into the Devilmakesthree camp allowing them to reproduce the songs live with glorious twin guitar madness whilst firmly establishing their presence in the gig circuit.

Devilmakesthree are huge fans of the pioneering metal bands that have defined the sound of extreme metal to this day. Citing both the music and progressive attitude of artists such as Entombed, Carcass and Trouble as major influences, they have taken this passion and love for heavy metal and developed a depth and maturity within their songs that parallels many well establish acts.

This is the TRUE sound of the underground metal scene. This is THE voice of the underdog.
