I haven't listened to much of his work, but his last album "Terria" is simply amazing, very innovative, crazy lyrics at some points. It's a must have

the paradigm:; if you like terria you should at least check ocean machine...physicist, infinity and the strapping young lad stuff sound very different (i love them all btw...)

devin is, for me, one of the greatest artists in the metal genre....his playing skills may be not the best of all time but his melodies and ideas kick ass!

Terria, its awsome, one of the best written albums i've ever heard. And he's an awsome guitar player, its not as noticable as some, he dosn't have many big solos, but his solo in "Deep Peace" is one of the best i've ever heard. Its not hard, but damn does it ever hit the spot. Also, there are cool Vai-ish licks on Terria, and Strapping Young Lad has crazy rhythm. Great voice too. So, Terria or SYL is what i'd say, but if you get one, get Terria.

Physicist is pretty good too. the enhanced computer stuff on the dics is good. the explanations of every song by Devy are funny shit.
i say the best SYL album is City, and their best songs are All Hail the New Flash, Detox, and Underneath the Waves.
