this is a loss - a great loss. but i must say, he was definitely NOT in the prime of his life. i hate that he is gone, but i am glad he won't be in the state of suspended animation any longer - he wasn't Dick Clark for a long while

Rest well, Dick Clark - you will be missed. may your heaven be full of the rock and roll you loved (rock and roll heaven being an awesome song, sadly enough)

It is only April, and we lost two of the biggest influences in the history of the American music industry: Dick Clark and Don Cornelius. Though he is in a better place, Clark was not well for a long time. The only good thing about Clark dying is that he does not have to suffer any longer.

That said, God now has two men that can put on one hell of a TV music show. RIP.
