Rob had trouble with his work visa or something... so all shows are being rescheduled... but they appear to have been postponed... indefinitely...

*crosses fingers and hopes for a press pass*

Yeah, I had a ticket to that. Seems weird. Halford lives in San Diego, but I guess he has to go to England to get his work visa. WTF?!

Oh shit! bassbitch! I hope you're reading this or you know ab out it! I know Melsy's going to Vegas to see the show. That's gonna suck!

I am sooooooo bummed about that. I had tix for the show in Las Vegas (since it was conveniently a mere hour out of my way back from New Mexico), and it didn't happen... :waah: My friends and I ended up drowning our sorrows at Pink E's over many brewski's. the sad part of it all is this isn't the first time me and my folk drove out to Vegas for a show only to fnd it cancelled. Iron Maiden was supposed to play at The Joint of all places (smmmmaalllll venue in the Hard Rock Hotel/Casino) on the Ed Hunter tour, and that got cancelled as well. *sigh* with this luck, I don't think I'm ever going to drive to Lost Wages for another show again; I think I jinx it.

On a good note, a lot of the people I met in Vegas this past weekend remember The Iron Maidens fondly and are looking forward to their next performance there.

I too was planning to go, but I didn't buy any tickets. I'm bummed, because I've never seen Halford play in a small venue...he's always been in big venues (which I've seen him in many times). Small indoor venues are the best! The sound is louder, and you really "feel" the music. But, to hear Rob scream in a small indoor place I think would be just absolutely nutts! I do remember the the Iron Maiden gig getting scrubed in Vegas. I was going to do that too, but found out about the cancel before going.

What time is your performance? This show doesn't start until 8 pm and there's 4 bands. You might be able to make it; that's if you're up to two shows on the same night.
