Made an intro from a later guitar section and since there were no drums, i prgrammed a beat in and used DKFH superior.

The whole key to this sound is a freeware preamp emulator that just makes everything SO warm.

Other plugins

Sonitus Compressor

Audio Damage Reverence
Voxengo Gliss EQ

Voxengo Lampthrust

Apptrigga (yes, i triggered the kick on a blues record!)
A Freeware Tape Delay
Perfect Space Convolution Verb

Hahaha, anyhoo, this is my first time working with this music style so be gentle

Apart from the drums it sounds very nice and warm . The drums however do not seem to work for me. Especially the kick drum is way to clicky for this kind of music. I think a bigger sounding bassdrum, hit at less velocity would work better. Furthermore the drums don't seem to align correctly with the music at all times. I would also turn the normal snare (not the one sounding as coming through an old radio) down a bit. The snare might also benefit from a some what looser sound, since this is quite a mellow song. Hope this helps :)

By the way could you share with us what this preamp plugin is, which you talk about.

I see exactly that you mean about the drums, you're right!

Might spend a wee bit more time with it.

The preamp plugin, is kinda usless a lot of the time but in the places where it works, it's fucking SWEET.

Musicrow Audio Software- vsti and vst plugins

It can just arm up a whole mix.

Another use i like it for is on vocals sometimes.
