Didn't See This Album Coming...

I’m shocked to say I have actually found an awesome Xmas album. The album is called “We Wish You a Metal Xmas and Headbanging New Year” and features Ronnie James Dio, Geoff Tate, Billy Gibbons, Dave Grohl, Alice Cooper, Steven Lukather and more playing metal versions of classic Christmas songs. The idea seemed a bit strange at first but as it turns out its actually very cool. Take a look here:

Aside from the Lemmy/Gibbons track which sounds rockabilly nothing on that album is all that memorable... Even the Iommi/Dio track is weak...

well i guess this album is one of those that you either really like or don't. but i found this better than a lot of other xmas albums out. beats the boring xmas music in the dept. stores for sure.
