Norwegian black metallers Dimmu Borgir will hit the studio in March, spending about 2 months recording the follow up to Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia. The band has 9 songs ready and will write 2-3 additional songs before they start recording.
Dimmu Borgir will start rehearsing the new material this month, and guitarist Silenoz said there will be a couple of surprises and that they will tell more about this when everything is ready, according to Dimmu Borgirs official website.
He also said that the album will be hotter than hell with a big orchestra, surprises and the usual quality that can be expected from Dimmu Borgir.
The album might be out some time during the fall, with September as the tentative release-date. Silenoz also added that the band will most likely skip playing any festivals this summer. A US tour in the fall is currently being considered.
