Dino Cazares guitar tone!!! what mics? anyone else dig his sound?

I have a sneaky suspician that he records guitars just direct via the recording out of his line 6 head/pod pro- but I may be wrong.

his tone is very clean in the sense of background noise hence my idea that maybe it's all direct (post demanufacture)

infact I prefer the stuff he does in brujeria.

any tips most welcome
