Stoner? I remember listening to their singles way back when but I don't remember much in the lines of any riffs really, just weird vocals and guitar crap. Good stuff though, like that video where they play golf all over NYC (?).

So if they are rifftastic maybe I'll have to go back and get some of them shitz.

Yeah, I used to listen to one of their albums quite a bit circa '93-94. I can't remember which one though. The first track had a cool chorus, "I know you're out there....". ??

Yeah it started as j.mascis, lou barlow and such and then when barlow quit to do Sebadoh it was Mascis and a drummer and a bassist named I think Johnston but it was finally just Mascis, who went ahead and started what was already basically a solo career, very low key, I'm not surprised he's resurrected the name. A very peculiar guy, I let a friend borrow it and she and her boyfriend listened to it and brought it back, and she says, "what kind of drugs is that guy on, anyway?". Which considering her boyfriend was my dealer at the time, was saying somethin g
