Dio almost 50 years in rock

If Ronnie can hang around until 2007, he will have spent 50 years in music as a professional artist. His first release with a band called The Vegas Kings was released in 1957. Check out the site below. Ronnie quietly has had one of the best careers in rock/metal music. Cheers to him and long live The (true) King of Rock and Roll.

for a soon-to-be 64 year old, he still rocks out on stage like he's in his thirties. I saw twice. The first time with Deep Purple and The Scorpions last year(that was my first ever concert too, by the way), and the second time this past summer with Iron Maiden and Motorhead, both times, he blew me away, he hasn't lost one step. It's quite impressive.

Unfortunately I've only seen him live once. I've always been a big fan of him. The music of Dio always felt heavier than it actually was to me.

Dio is the best stage performer ever. If only my singer had half the carisma that Dio has. I've seen Dio two times. First was with Hammerfall and the second was with Maiden. Both shows were great, but I enjoyed the one with Hammerfall a little more because it was at a smaller venue and Doug was on guitar.

I missed seeing Dio both times I wanted to see him because I can't drive and I'm surrounded by a lot of non-metal people. Anyway, Dio rules and yes, his music is just so intense and heavy and awesome! I only have the Very Beast of Dio cd, but I plan to get more! Now wait a second though... I don't think those pictures are accurate unless allmusic screwed up. It said he was born in 1949 so that would mean he was only like 8 in 57 so maybe it's AMG's fault... ahh, never mind.

This man is the TRUE King Of Rock N' Roll. I mean, his charisma, stage presence and intensity in singing beats the shit out of most young performers. He's a true innovator and honestly there isn't a bad thing to say bad about this man. I saw him twice with Motorhead and Iron Maiden in both NJ and NY. The man is amazing and I can't wait much more from him in the future!

I missed DIO this last time around (bad shit in my life going on) but the last
couple times DIO came around he was awesome! For an old guy, he's in
really great shape vocally and you'd never know he was 64! Until now, I
did not know he was that old! His DIO Last in Live and DIO Live DVD
are incredible. I think he sounds better know than he did 10 years ago.
Some singers lose their touch with age,but DIO sure as hell hasn't.
DIO will around far past 2007, I say he's thrashing into 2017!
