Dio At Donington Live 1983 & 1987 A BBC Recording

Was surprised it turned up today via courier instead of regular post but am very pleased

The packaging is quite nice in the digipak format with 2 backstage passes and booklet. The first cd is 1983 and the second 1987. Great historical photos of Ronnie, the band and the festival. The sound is on par with the Rhino Sabbath Hammersmith cd from 3-4 years back. Light years ahead of the recent Gillen show from the 7th Star Deluxe edition. Not comparing performance just audio quality.

Only on RITD 1983 now but the performance is great. Wish these recordings came out in addition to Intermission and after Dream Evil respectively.

The weekend just picked up!!!!!!!!!!

Got this about a month ago. Wait until you see the Heaven and Hell CD and DVD that are set for release next week!!! God bless the record companies that still mail out review copies!!!!
