I told some fools on this board like 3 years ago to get back to me when this album came out. They were saying it would be weak and not as "heavy" as new era FF.
Fuck you all.
I just got the promo and it's ass kicking. It's nothing ground breaking but it absolutely blows the balls off of newer FF material. The drumming is nuts and the vocals are actually much better than I expected. This is the type of singer that fucking Nightrage should have gotten after Thomas left since they decided to steer away from the death vocals a bit and venture into more hardcore...
As usual, Dino plays in his trademark machine gun style riffage with some pretty cool riffs that remind me 100% of Demanufacture-era FF throughout the album.
So, final analysis - the album is a tad generic, and at some points a bit too "core" for my liking, but these are petty grievances really, and do nothing to detract from the beating you get here.
Highly recommended if youre in the mood for a fresh ass kicking.
oh and the vocal attack also encompasses clean vox that remind me of matt barlow a bit. its cool.
