Wouldn't you like to know
Seattle @ Green Bay = Green Bay
New York @ Dallas = *shocker* New York
Jacksonville @ New England = I hope Jacksonvile wins, but gotta go with the Cheatriots
San Diego @ Indianapolis = Indianapolis (31-13)

I'll take the favorites, except for Seattle over GB. Holmgren is a better coach, and the Seahawks have a ton of playoff experience.

I don't think Eli Manning will play well three games in a row. If he turns it over twice or more they're probably done.

Colts should win easy, and NE will squeak by Jax.

Patriots have been showing signs of weakness. This will be the third time they meet Jax this season. Jax is due to win (if a team is ever "due"). Pats may have lost momentum during the season, and with a bye, they may lose more.

I already explained a few reasons in the Sports Thread why it could the the Chargers, but add to that list the whole momentum thing. I believe the Colts are a better overall team, but that doesn't mean they will win next weekend. I admit it may seem unlikely, but it's not impossible, and it's what I will be rooting for!

What relevance do the Packers SB wins have? Favre is the only playoff tested player on the team. I think it's quite obvious that Holmgren is a much better coach than McCarthy. He'll have the Seahawks ready to play in GB, and he knows how to coach in bad weather conditions. Hasselbeck is one of the more steady QBs in the league. I'd rank him about 6-7th. Seattle's secondary is strong, and should make things challenging for Favre. Didn't Seattle have one of the leaders in sacks as well? Kearney?

Their secondary isn't strong. Their run defense is. Packers D is better, and if it is a game dominated by defense the Packers will win. And how can you say that Holmgren is much better coach than McCarthy? Obviously Holmgren is excellent, but look at the record here. 13-3 vs what, 10-6? McCarthy is an excellent play caller as well. You're just biased because you're a Bears fan.

And that SB thing was obviously a joke

Well, the coaching seemed non-existent in the Bears-Packers games this year, so that's what I'm basing that off of. Holmgren has a successful record over a very long career coaching.

Weather is a huge factor for this one. I think better weather will favor GB, while bad conditions favor Seattle. Bad weather tends to take away the bombs, which GB has had major success with in a lot of games this year. Hasselbeck is a good short-to-mid passer who could do well in bad weather. If the weather is horrendous, it will come down to special teams and turnovers, since both teams are stronger on run D than run O.

Speaking of that playoff game, they are playing the 2004 wild card game between the hawks and pack right now on the NFL Network. Matt Hasselbeck just said that famous line when they won the toss in overtime, "We want the ball and we're going to score!" hahahhah good shit
