This was pretty cool. I love Ke but not a fan of her remixes in general, so I stick to her actual songs. But yeah this was definitely cool.
Also love this dude's Gaga dubstep remixes:

These two were great! Mashup artists are getting quite skilled. It wouldn't surprise me if it started to become it's own little sub-micro-genre (whatever you wanna call it). Maybe it already has!
Futurepop is such a great name that I had to investigate it. When I did, I heard all the stuff that I used to know as Darkwave, and maybe a few more electro-based tunes here and there. Glad I'm not the only one who didn't hear anything "new."I honestly haven't listened to much since college. I know I've mentioned that I love VNV Nation at least once or twice here. Which I guess has since been termed futurepop since I was big into them.
Ah, I'm sure Glee has helped the popularity. I've never watched that show but it sure seems to be everywhere lately. The popularity certainly has grown. The tv show Glee has had at least 6 mashups on their show. And they're doing another for their post-Superbowl show. That Rude Boy Resort song also got covered live by lostprophets.
And as for mashups, my favorite is a kpop combo:
SHINee - "Lucifer"
Super Junior - "Bonamana"
This guy's mashups are mindblowing! Not sure how it'll go over if you don't know the songs individually though. :Spin:

Is it acceptable to enjoy a boyband if it's in another language? lol.
