DLR back in VH

maybe I am crazy but wasn't there a tour some years ago where DLR and Hagar shared the set ?

I know I know... (I knew I should have said Pink Floyd instead). :loco:
Wasn't sure if you were joking. And for what it's worth, I'd rather see Floyd (with Waters) more than Priest or VH.

I love Roth era Van Halen. However, so much of that music was about attitude and energy. I wonder if I'm better off skipping this tour. I did get a chance to see Roth in support of "Eat'em and Smile" and "Skyscraper" and both were fantastic.

Last time I heard Roth singing live on television he couldn't sing for shit. It sounded horrible. Plus eddies teenage son is playing bass. That seems like it would be a big buzz kill.

holy crap ... this is from last night's show in NJ ... my lord how lame VH has become ...

even the front row crowd is like ... WTF is going on?

Roth is doing like bad fat Elvis imitations

The guys in Van Halen are younger than the guys in Priest. And Eddie is younger than your boy Steve Harris.

Just checked out a few of the VH clips on YouTube. The band sounds pretty tight. Eddie looks like he's gotten his shit together. However, Dave looks like his movements are very deliberate, as if he's developed back issues.

As I said, I got to see the DLR band on their first two tours. That was sufficient for me.

He looks like a financial advisor on the last day of vacation in the most popular island getaway of the current time.

I saw the Rolling Stones last year right, free tickets so we went because I think the very notion of that type of reunion is beyond lame (old fucks, old songs, old balls), but I must admit they did put on a pretty good show. Mick Jagger ran around like a 14 year old girl (but not as hot) for 3 hours and the band was very lively. I'm sure they all had oxygen tanks back stage, but at least they didn't hobble around like Ozzy has for the past decade, so I'll give them that.
