do you think all those so called Anti-christ bands(such as Deicide, Venom, Marduk...etc) actually belive in what they sing?

I think no...It's just a 'rough' pose they have. o_O

As far as religion is concerned, and LaVey Satanism, most of them are probably genuine in their feelings; those sorts of opinions don't typically conflict with society's 'normal' framework of the individual's life. When the lyrics breach upon active misanthropy, hate, violence etc, then you can be 100% certain the person who wrote them is full of shit. Hell, most of them are all luvvy-duvvy with kids and a family; the first, most basic and strongest unit of modern authoritarian socio-political power.

Some do, some don't. Most don't.

Varg Vikernes thinks guitars are for black people!

The guitar was most definitely not invented by black people nor is it predominantly played by black people. As much as I respect the man's music I still know that he's quite out of touch with reality.

Can someone please bring up to speed on Varg Vikernes. And why the hell he thinks guitar is for black people or whatever? I play guitar and I'm far from Black.

Who cares? He's a dumbass.

As for the topic...I think alot of these bands might actually believe in LaVey Satanism or some form of Luciferian idealogy, but it doesn't really interfere with their daily life, infact in some cases might even make them better more rational people because of some beliefs.

"Comparing an instrument with a music culture is rather odd, I think. It is like comparing letters with languages. I can use Latin letters when I write Russian, and it will still be Russian, right? But if I write another language with Russian letters, it will not be Russian anyhow. See my point? "Eta nje harasjo pitch samnoga vodki!" (It is bad to drink so much vodka - ed.) or "Panjemaesh pa germanskamo?" (Do you understand German? - ed.) is still Russian, even if I use Latin letters! (Well, very poor Russian I guess, but You should be able to see my point). So if I use an instrument made by a Jew to play European music the music will still be European. Or for that sake: these answers are not American, even though I use an American invention - the PC - when I answer the question. Right?

I am able to see the link between classical music and some metal music, but my main objection was and is really that the culture following in the footsteps of metal music is "Negro". The "metal heads" tend to behave like a bunch of "White my pals", so to speak, with their sex, drugs and rock'n'roll culture."

This is how he cleared it up recently.

Glenn benton spends time Christmas with his kids... :erk:

Ergh, what's he supposed to do? Avoid his kids because it's Christmas?

As for the topic - most black metal bands who label themselves as anti-Christian ARE anti-Christian. How Satanic they are can be discussed, however. Bands like Deathspell Omega and Ondskapt seem genuinely satanic, though.

^That's not what he meant, when he stated it originaly.

Not exactly, but I think he basically meant the same thing - he wanted to move away from metal because black culture had been integrated into it.
