Doctor Butcher

When I saw the subject of this thread I thought it was about the 70s horror flick "Dr. Butcher M.D. (Medical Deviate)" haha!

Anything with Jon on vocals is worth a spin for sure.

Have you checked on the "Pain" project? It's different, but very good....

I heard it, I have a copy of it, Thanks to JD, one of the biggest Oliva fans in the states.... Pain is very different. Butcher will be putting out another record very soon, which is great!

I was listening to this disc on the way to the regional jail to see some of the clients there. Anyway, I was on I-84 driving 80 MPH before I knew it! Just an awesome record, there's some stuff on there that is very reminicent of Ride/Master era Metallica meets Savatage meets Priest... Fuck pummeling combo!

Hopefully I can get me a copy of this! I have only heard a Few songs off of it but really liked em! ..... Jon Oliva IS GOD! he could shit in a cd case and I would love it hahaha

I am waiting to hear back from a dude that is going to sell me supposed EX copies of "Hall of the Mountain King" and "Power of the Night" on vinyl ...... that would be sweet......

I have the original and the Demo's CD. They are both great IMO. Is the remaster that much better Sixx? I may have to check it out. I hope Jon and Chris get this project up and going again, I would love to hear some new material.

Is it better. Well, since I originally heard it on cassette & the version I now have is on disc, I would say yes, the remastered it & the drums sound better, appears everthing else is untouched. Like I said this has aged well. If can't live without the extras, get it, but if you have it...
Also got an advance copy review upcoming for W.A.R.P.E.D. from Chris Caffery... Wich is the release of the bonus disc on FACES. This is way better & solid. Stomps Faces into the ground... Also features a track with Jon Oliva called Iraq Attack!
