I assume you are looking at the Mesa's and not the Krank Cab? I like a bit of a bright top-end and a nice tight low-end, so I went with the Traditional (smaller) Mesa over the Oversized. Don't be fooled into thinking that if you want more low-end that you need the Oversized, the Traditional one can deliver some serious low-end, not to mention the midrange punch in the face.

The fact that nobody EVER has a Traditional for sale is the hardest part.
I'm going with an Oversized, simply because it's the bog standard, and with my 5150, that overdose of midrange can be deadly. That, and I found one for 475!
Both are really good cabs, and are quite useable. I've heard tighter tones out of the Oversized than I have out of the Traditional, and vice versa - 81's + OD808 will really make anything as tight as most people will need it, though.

Great cabinets, heavy as hell, tolex dings suuuuper easy, and they cost an arm and a leg over here.
