Does any one besides enjoi17, know where I can purchase Sacred Reich's "Ignorance"...

You used to be able to find it in my CD collection, along with every other SR album. Then I stupidly sold them all a couple years ago. It wasn't worth that much back then, I don't think.

Everytime I've gone to Amoeba I have looked for this, to no luck. I also keep a watch on all the ebay auctions of it, but they reach such insane prices that I give up.

Metal Blade and the band are re-releasing "Ignorance" and "Surf Nicaragua" with some extra tracks this year. They are also including a DVD with it. It is currently planned to be packaged as two discs and a DVD. The DVD will have a video for "Ignorance" with an interview done in 1987. Also included will be the Dynamo Open Air show from 1989.

Why can't bands/labels just put out another pressing without cluttering it up with a bunch of extras? The flow of an 8-9 song album gets kersplunked on by adding covers, live tracks, demo bullshit. Bahhhh.

Yes, I know I can just press stop after the initial album is over. But why should I have to?!?!

Yeah, it does disrupt the flow of most albums. I don't mind hearing the bonus tracks, but would prefer it to be on a 2nd cd of a double cd release or something.

What I really can't stand is listening to a bonus track of a song that is also on the original album. Seriously wtf!??!

Anathema's Eternity Re-Release has

Eternity III as track 10, then 3 tracks later they have an acoustic version of the same song. Just a little redundant don't ye think?!

At least it isn't disposable alternate mixes of just about every song, I hate it when reissues are filled up with nonessential shit like that. But then again, not every band can have lots of great non-album tracks at the ready like say Iron Maiden or Katatonia.

Bunches of extras are nice, but what if you already have the originals? The die-hard fans most likely do, and they are the ones who would be most interested in the bonus material... Should they have to get the same album again? Release it separately, I say!
