Does anyone like Dimension Zero? Has anyone heard their new album yet?

They're not mentioned often here....

Well, the new album leaked and once again, one could put a label on it the same as every dz album which would be "this is what In Flames should have sounded like after Clayman."

All the melodic riffing is there, and this is a very high energy, up tempo album. Very fast and furious and brutal....it shows that Jesper still likes to make this kind of music.....

So far, it doesnt sound like it's going to be better than Silent Night Fever, but it is very, very good and I am enjoying it a lot while I get drunker and drunker into this evening....

Well truth be told, they've been away for a few years and their style of melodic death has been done to death since then...

Still, I'm looking forward to the new album too... it should be a solid release. hopefully it gets more hype so people can get interested to check out SNF.

I only heard the bonus track, which was quite funny. (Beegees cover)

I like Dimension Hatross
Fucking a, much better than ending up in Dimension Zero. In Dimension Hatross you get stuck in the psychic vacuum where you hear some of the most innovative metal ever created. I heard in Dimension Zero you're forced to sit in Century Media's waiting room listening to derivative shit.

Dimension Zero fail to be catchy at all, and instead re-tread boring generic Gothenmelodeathrash like every other band (Hatesphere, Carnal Forge, Terror 2000, ON AND ON AND FUCKING ON AND ON ETC.)...at least FNF is catchy and pleasing to listen to. It was also my first metal album, so obviously it's dear to me.

I liked Dimension Zero back when they released Penetrations from the Lost World. It came amongst the blitz of Swedish melodic death, and it was good and heavy. Their album afterwards was pretty decent.

Now the new album..its tough. I like 3 songs off of it. Hell is Within is awesome, but it could have been so much more. The staying Alive cover is funny, and Way to Shine is decent, but for the most part its nothing super special. I like it just for Hell is Within. But unfortunately, I might as well like mainstream radio rock..albums with one good song and 10 more shitty ones..no thanks.
