I like them a lot. For me the last one is really a great album. But the older ones like "Steps" and "A sense of change" are really incredible. I heard them when they released "Life cycles", their first album. But "Steps" is so damn good. Love the enviroment, very progressive in the vein of Rush, with a very jazzy feel too. I think this was one of best things ever done in progressive metal. Then they changed, after "A sense of..." of sound and line up. They went more heavy, but they lost also their guitar player Markus Steffen who i think is an incredible musician. The two albums from the nineties without Markus disappointed me.
Now in 2005 they released through inside out label "The art of navigating by the stars". And what a comeback for Markus Steffen, love the guitar everywhere in the album, and the very characteristical bass line. Sieges Even is a very unique band. Genious band
