thats just the usual propaganda caca. the nation with the largest oil reserves is the US. almost 3/4ths of alaska is national oil reserves and the alaskan pipeline is there to pump it out-but canada the middle east russia and what not those are commercial reserves. the national reserve in alaska is never sold even in this country. it is never used even by the feds-they buy theirs from the commercial market/reserve too. the alaskan reserve is supposedly only for emergency use to keep the country running in case of international disaster.

I was watching the news on the local Fox channel, and they ran what was obviously a network produced spot that managed, in less than 2 minutes, to completely vilify Canada in general and Vancouver, BC specifically. It started off talking about decriminalizing drugs and came right out and pretty much said that smoking weed is just as bad as shooting heroin. It also managed to knock them on the legalization of gay marriages and their stance on the war. So yeah, I'm expecting a preemptive war within the next year.
