Does Dan like Dio's voice? His singing on the Dio tribute album...

I always wondered if he was influenced by Ron James Dio in any way? I really love Dan's singing on the Dio tribute album called HOLY DIO: A TRIBUTE TO THE VOICE OF METAL - RONNIE JAMES DIO. Dan sings "Country Girl", the classic Sabbath song off of Mob Rules, and he does a killer job.

I think this is one of the best tribute albums I've heard in years. Besides Dan, it features great bands like Jag Panzer, Steel Prophet, Fates Warning, Solitude Aeturnus, Yngwie Malmsteen, Blind Guardian and many others.

Has anyone else heard it besides me?

Static, it's a 1999 Century Media release and I've seen the CD on www.amazon.com - I'm sure it shouldn't be too difficult to find.

Make sure you get the 2CD edition, "Country Girl" isn't on the 1CD version.

Oh, I didn't even know where was a 1CD version. I've the 2CD version with Dan covering "Country Girl" on disc 1.
