That big black hole is the hernia. It's not supposed to be a hole.
The Dr. seemed impressed with the size of it. But he's done over 3,300 of these operations.

My spermatic cord is beautiful, I say!

That hole was so big that my right nut actually went up through it a couple times when I was getting it on. It didn't hurt or anything, and the only way I noticed it happened was 'cause my testicle was kinda pushing out through my "lower abdomenal area". I just pushed on that part of my abdomen and it went back into place.
That picture is actually like a cave where your boys come from. They (the nuts) drop when you're born. And they're not supposed to go back like mine did.

It didn't hurt when that stuff happened.
Actually, the operation was no big deal at all. I was out of work for 6 days, but I honestly could've gone back after 4 days off.
I guess that these types of hernias are so common (for males) that the operation is a piece of cake.
