Don't you get the sense that....

So he grows his hair? Now he looks like an EMO elitist prick  (sorry I don't like the guy, but thanks Sixxi for a free ride ;))

NP: Beyond The Labyrinth - 'Unholy War'

What I meant is that he sure seems to be appearing or sharing th stage with people that I would have thought were beneath him...
He did the Heart show, he did a show to benifit music is schools, with of all things kids and now he's sharing the stage with Metal Skool who are a cover band? He's loosened up I think...

Maybe he paid that guy to kill Dime, that's why he hid for so long. (kddng)
Naw, I think hes tryin' to get over Dimes' death and move on like Vinnie did. Like everyone did, he put on his shoes, grabbed the mic and said "Fuck it, I gotta do something, can't sit around like a zombie."
I'm glad for him.:headbang:

Yeah but he admits it though.
Not a lot of people would, and he knows he's got problems.
Manic depression,Bad temper,Drugs, ego mania.

Heart Show? What is that? Something to help people with heart health problems? And he really did a music benefit thing for school? Maybe he did loosen up.

I think the reason he acted elitest, as you said, was because he used to try to get accepted in the underground metal community by trying to make all those side project bands (Superjoint Ritual and his Black Metal ones). Also, making the later Pantera albums heavier and even forcing the rest of the band to do so. But, I dont think he got that much respect from the real underground people because they shun him for making a big time band like Pantera. Another reason, is because they stick up their nose on Pantera because they attracted more of a mainstream audience. I like Pantera and Down but dont care for the rest of his projects. I frankly dont give 2 shits if some more trendy, mainstream kids like Pantera. I dont give a shit if they're not exactly respected within metal and I respect how he tried to keep the albums intense.

Shit dude that's all wrong.
He was into the metal undergound hardcore before he joined Pantera.
He hated all the hair band stuff they did and was trying to creat his own band, and that meant getting heavier.
Pantera were looking for someone like that because that's what they wanted to do, GET HEAVIER!:kickass:
Yeah they didn't want to get as heavy as he wanted but he didn't exactly realize it till later. They didn't want to get that heavy.
They did a lot of the glam stuff to make money, they wanted some spotlight.
Don't come over here talking trash unless you've got facts to back what you say.
It's annoying.
