I haven't seen a thread about this yet, so I figured i'd put in a plug for this awesome song and my old guitar teacher :D

Ps. The solo is one of the best i've heard in years. Imo anyway :D

Fuck yeah! Been following Rob for about 3 years now. This is fucking awesome stuff, though. Rob definitely knows how to pick the right bandmates! Dave's mix on this is fucking tasty.

Definitely, he's a fucking awesome teacher as well, and genuinely a nice guy, it's not all just a front on youtube, he's genuinely one of the nicest people i've ever been lucky enough to meet :)

Totally! Went to Monkeyfest last year and met him there, he's such a chill dude. Was chilling in the main hall and all of a sudden he comes up and bear hugs me and I'm like 'what the fuck man!' You a member over on Rob's forum, perchance?

Yep, same username, never really go on it though tbh

The music is fantastic but I can't take his voice seriously. It doesn't fit in the mix or music very well in my opinion.

Really? He's got that really powerful Chris Cornell style of voice which fits really well with the music imo. The way I've always thought of Dorje is Soundgarden/Audioslave but with more awesome musicianship and more proggy. I guess you're entitled to your opinion though :) Mixwise, I agree that it doesn't sit too well, for some reason. Just seems to poke out a little bit much, but still sounds somewhat buried, if that makes sense.
