The Classic Metal Show only has a few women that we regularly encourage to call into the show to talk heavy metal with Neeley and Chris. Without question, one of those women is the Queen of Heavy Metal herself, Doro Pesch. Since she broke out back in the 80s through today, Doro has stayed true to metal and never given up in the face of changing trends or a lack of interest in metal as a genre. Now, Doro is back with a tribute to a boxing friend with a new EP called ALL WE ARE: THE FIGHT. We'll do a New Music Listening Party for ALL WE ARE: THE FIGHT, and Doro will call into the show to discuss the new release, the future, and everything that's been going on in the world of Doro.
Additionally, the guys love to interview bands that never quite broke out big, but certainly were more than deserving. One such band was Little Caesar. Their blues based rock n' roll was long mislabeled as hair metal, which ultimately cost the band their chance at stardom. Still, Little Caesar has regrouped in 2008, are planning some new tour dates, and even are planning on recording a brand new album. The guys have scheduled an interview with the band's mainman, Ron Young. Ron has significant history in both the world of classic metal, as well as non-classic metal (with an "almost" stint with the Red Hot Chili Peppers). We're excited to have Ron on the show to talk about the reunion, his time in the 80s with Little Caesar, and his short run with The Four Horsemen.
