If anyone needs a room at a host hotel for DC 2017, drop me a line. I currently still have some rooms available at the Hilton, and Sheraton. The Hyatt rooms are already gone, though I might be able to add a few more over the coming weeks. I also hope to add a few Marriott rooms shortly. Those do not have legacy status, so any group getting one of them will not have a guaranteed Marriott room next year, though you would be eligible for one of the other rooms.
This may seem odd to some that I'm posting this now, but a number of host hotels are already fully booked, and the 70K plus will be scrambling to secure one of a couple hundred rooms that may become available over the next few weeks...
